For an author it’s always scary waiting for reviews of your novel to come it. Will the reviewer like it, hate it, or be indifferent?
It’s only two and half months from release of Murder in a Basket, and the reviews are starting to arrive. Thankfully, most have been good.
I just recieved one from Publisher’s Weekly, and it makes me smile.
Publishers Weekly Review (11/18/11)
“In Flower’s delightful, clean-as-a-whistle second India Hayes mystery, India, the librarian at Ohio’s Martin College, intends to retrieve the items she left in her face-painting booth at the founders’ festival, but discovers more than she bargained for . . . The satisfying conclusion will leave cozy fans eager for India’s next adventure.”
This weekend, I will be spending two days of my holiday weekend in Amish Country, researching A Plain Scandal. This will be the sequel to A Plain Death. The novel will be set around Thanksgiving, so this is a perfect time to visit Holmes and Knox Counties. Of course, I will take lots of pictures!
I have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. Wishing you and yours a lovely Thanksgiving!
