This week, I had the pleasure of visiting with Vannetta Chapman, Shelley Shepard Gray, and Amy Clipston as they passed through my part of Ohio on their Amish Country Holiday Book Tour sponsored by Zondervan. I met them at their signing at the Berean Bookstore in Canton, Ohio.
It was especially nice to see Vannetta and Shelley. I met Shelley at the ACFW conference in 2010, and she’s one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Vannetta will always have a special place in my heart because she was instrumental in my quest to find a dream literary agent. Perhaps, I will share that story in a future post. She writes Amish mysteries too. If you like my books, you will love hers!
All three ladies are talented Amish fiction writers, and I left the store with an armful of their new releases. I’m looking forward to seeing them again soon.
