Happy 2021! We made it! Last year had it’s tough moment for sure. However, there were bright spots too. The bright spots for me was getting married and beginning to build a house/music studio with my husband at our farm in Northeast Ohio. Both of these big events happened in October. My husband is a recording engineer and has dreamed of having a studio since he was young. Now, it’s finally happening. If you’re a musician or know one, you should check out his website Super Sweet Samples. We are so grateful to be where we are today and are making plans for the future.
One of my personal plans has been to bring this blog back. With work and life and trying to balance those two, I haven’t blogged as often as I used to the last several years. As a result, I have made a promise to myself to post a blog every Friday this year. The topics will include news about my books, character visits, recipes, updates on my beloved editors (my cats Cheeps and Tummy), news about our farm, and more.
Most of all, I want to connect more with you, my Dear Readers, and show you a bigger piece of my life than you might get on a social media post. So let’s get started and have some fun!

Millie Fisher and Lois Henry are back in a second hair-raising adventure! This time they are solving the murder of a young man in a flea market fire. Everyone is determined to blame the fire on the victim, but Millie knows that can’t be true. Can she and Lois convince the police she’s right?
