The holiday cheer continues with another chance to win an ARC copy of MURDER IN A BASKET!

Here’s your chance to be one of the first to read my second novel in the Agatha Award-nominated India Hayes Mystery Series.  I have three more Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) available to give away, and you can win one!

How the contest works:
Anyone who comments on my blog or my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/authoramandaflower) with an answer to my weekly question about mystery fiction will be entered into the drawing for that week. If you post your answer in both places, you are entered twice and have a better chance to win! If you don’t win week one, don’t worry you can reenter the next week! You have three opportunities to win.

  1. I like a sleuth who is smart but not too smart, to have some humor and one that has some warm qualities. I prefer someone I can relate to on some level. In other words, not perfect.

  2. I like a sleuth with personality, like India! I also like sleuths with dangerous or troubled pasts. I like to see them work out their issues while they’re sniffing out the answers (Jackson Brodie, Harry Bosch).

  3. I like a sleuth who cares about the underdog and justice. I also like a sleuth with an interesting personal life that is part the story..

  4. They have to be smart but also have a wicked sense of humor. I don’t like the sleuths that seem to bumble their way through everything, you just end up feeling sorry for them.

  5. I like some intelligence but not overly smart. They have to have some weakness we can relate to and of course not guess the mystery the first time out. I love good sense of humor. Also mostly honest…they have to fudge a little bit. And loyal to their family or friends.
