Saturday, July 17, 2010 was the official Maid of Murder Launch Party at Goodyear Height Presbyterian Church, my home church, in Akron, and I’m still glowing from the day. So many wonderful people in my life braved the 90 degree heat and came out in support of my novel, my family, and me. I was overwhelmed by the response.
Although there is not an official count, there were over a hundred guests at the party from every facet of my life from my childhood up to the present. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came. You’re each amazing and a blessing in my life.
It was a fabulous day that I will always remember. Oh, and the cherry on top was we sold out of copies of Maid of Murder! A reprint is in the works!
I know some of you weren’t able to attend the party but never fear you have many more opportunities to catch up with me at a signing through the rest of the summer and into the fall.
